Vi er kommet til andre utgave av The Monthly Iceberg, og presenterer nok en låt fra fjorårets store hyllestkonserten “Raising The Titanic: A Tribute To Howard Iceberg”. Dagens låt heter “Lauren”, og originalen kan du finne på Volume 5 på den legendariske boksen “Welcome Aboard”.
Det er Howard Iceberg selv som velger ut låter, og “Lauren” er en av mine favorittlåter med Howard Iceberg, og jeg håper valget vil falle i smak hos leserne også.
Vi har som vanlig Howard selv presentere låten;
“This month’s song is a live version of “Lauren”, played by my own band, so you can see us in action (if that’s the right word for it).
We play out about twice a month, mostly here in K.C. The guys:
Gary Paredes (lead guitar), Dan Mesh (rhythm guitar), Scott Easterday (bass), Pat Tomek (drums), and me (rhythm guitar and vocals—if that’s the right word for it).
Some of you know Pat cuz he’s played Norway a lot—-he’s also the drummer for the Rainmakers. By the way, when the camera finally pans on Pat, at first he looks real blurry. This is not a problem with the video—-that’s the way Pat actually looks when he’s been drinking.”
